Jefferson County Health Department wants all residents to fight the flu this season. The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses.

The Jefferson County Nursing Division has flu shots available to patients 6 months and older. Vaccination is important to decrease the risk of severe flu illness.

Flu shots are available Monday- Friday at the health department from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.pm.

A flu clinic will be held on the 7th floor on Thursday February 1, 2018.

Walk into room 704 and receive your flu shot.

Flu is widespread in Jefferson County at the present time, and we want everyone to stay healthy and avoid the flu.
